Brandon Jan Blommeart’s trash monsters are shown on realistic landscapes giving them an extra sense of liveliness. They are shown “happily playing with each other as if they had inherited the earth from their human creators.” Brandon was born in Edmonton, Canada but since then has worked mostly out of Calgary. A wide range of work including drawing, painting, sculpting and sound design are staples in Brandon’s career.
